High School Musical Stars recreate movie from isolation (and it’s giving us life)

With many of us scrambling to fill our new and changing lives with some actual joy – the High School Musical cast have provided us with some life.

And whether you like it or not, they want to remind you ‘We’re All In This Together.’ 

After Ashley Tisdale, who plays the sharp-witted Sharpay Evans in the classic High School Musical movies posted a Tik Tok dancing to the famous song, other co-stars got involved.

As you can see, Hudgen’s take on the trend might be more in tune with where many more of us are right now.

But unfortunately, she went further. Remarks she made about the ‘inevitable’ deaths the virus will cause, have led to a massive backlash and an apology from her. 

“[Social distancing] til July sounds like a bunch of bullsh*t. I’m sorry,” she said on her Instagram Live. “It’s a virus. I get it. I respect it.

“At the same time, even if everybody gets it, yeah, people are gonna die, which is terrible, but inevitable!”

But since those initial comments, she has now posted on Twitter to say:

“I realise my words were insensitive and not at all appropriate for the situation our country and the world are in right now.

“This has been a huge wake-up call about the significance my words have, now more than ever.”

We can confirm though that Coach Barton, or ‘Troy’s Dad’ as played by Bart Johnson, got the trend. Thanks Coach.
