Incredible billboard appears in Kim Davis’ hometown

By Shaun Kitchener

A billboard by the organisation Planting Peace has appeared in Kim Davis’s hometown of Morehead as she continues to resist issuing same-sex marriage licenses.

The Kentucky clerk was briefly jailed for contempt of court, and was greeted by supportive religious conservatives and Survivor’s Eye Of The Tiger when she was released last week.

Referencing a part of the Bible that nobody seems to pay any attention to anymore, the sign reads: “Dear Kim Davis, the fact that you can’t sell your daughter for three goats and a cow means we’ve already redefined marriage.”

Speaking to local news station WKYT, Davis Hammet explained: “We put up this billboard just kind of reminding her that from a religious perspective, the definition of marriage has been constantly changing, and this isn’t actually about religion. We’re talking about government-issued marriage licenses here.”

Planting Peace hit headlines previously for painting a house near the Westboro Baptist Church HQ in rainbow Pride colours.

Bill Maher brilliantly summed-up the whole Kim Davis saga on his chatshow on Friday.
