Early indications show that the ‘Yes’ vote is likely to be successful, paving the way for marriage equality for same-sex couples in Ireland.
A high turnout has been recorded across the country, while the #hometovote movement captured attention globally yesterday, as Irish citizens returned home to make their voices heard in the historic referendum.
