Jeb Bush drops out of U.S. presidential race
Republican – and homophobe – Jed Bush has dropped out of the U.S. presidential race after receiving unimpressive results from the South Carolina Republican Primary.
The politician, who has previously outright told a gay constituent that his relationship didn’t deserve legal recognition, places just 0.1% ahead of John Kasich.
The brother of former president George W Bush said: “I’m proud of the campaign we won to unify our country, and to advocate conservative solutions, but the people of Iowa, New Hampshire and South Carolina have spoken. Tonight I am suspending my campaign.”
PinkNews reports that a gay couple have bought JebBushForPresident.com and have turned it into a support resource for LGBT people. Amazing.
