Justin Bieber has been charged with the assault of a limousine driver.
The Boyfriend singer handed himself in at a Toronto police station yesterday (January 29) just a week after he was arrested and charged for a separate incident in Florida.
Bieber was one of six people picked by a limousine in Toronto in the early hours of December 30.
A police statement explained: “While driving the group to a hotel, an altercation occurred between one of the passengers and the driver of the limousine.”
“In the course of the altercation, a man struck the limousine driver on the back of the head several times.
“The driver stopped the limousine, exited the vehicle and called police. The man who struck him left the scene before police arrived.”
Bieber has been charged with one count of assault and will appear in court on March 10.
The singer was arrested in Miami Beach last week for driving under the influence of alcohol and drugs, resisting arrest and driving with an expired licence.
He pleaded not guilty to the charges on Wednesday (January 29) and is due back in court on February 14.
