Kate Winslet goes androgynous for new magazine cover

Kate Winslet has presented her more masculine side, in a striking new photoshoot for the L’uomo Vogue magazine.
In the black and white photographs, taken by Peter Lindbergh, the Academy Award winning actress poses in a mens suit, coat and boots, in images which are reminiscent of the shoot Lady Gaga did for Japanese Vogue as her male alter ego, Jo Calderone.
The actress stirred up controversy yesterday, over comments she made to BBC Newsbeat about the gender pay gap. “I’m having such a problem with these conversations,” she said. “I understand why they are coming up, but maybe it’s a British thing. I don’t like talking about money; it’s a bit vulgar, isn’t it?”
“I don’t think that’s a very nice conversation to have publicly at all. I’m quite surprised by these conversations, to be honest, simply because it seems quite a strange thing to be discussing out in the open like that. I am a very lucky woman, and I’m quite happy with how things are ticking along.”
The actress is currently starring in the Steve Jobs biopic, alongside Michael Fassbender, as well as the comedy drama The Dressmaker.
