Kylie has announced details of her new single Into The Blue.

The Can’t Get You Out Of My Head star will release the track on March 16 as the first single from her forthcoming twelfth studio album.

Into The Blue was written by Kelly Sheehan, who has worked with the likes of Mary J Blige and Beyoncé, and the song will premiere on January 27.

Kylie said in a statement: “2013 was a year of big change, planning and preparation for me and I’m so excited that 2014 is finally here so I can share this new music. Into The Blue is really special to me as it encapsulates a lot of what I’ve been feeling – I can’t wait for it to be out there.”

Her twelfth studio album will follow later in 2014, and includes production from Pharrell Williams, Greg Kurstin, Metrophonic, MNEK and Ariel Rechtshaid.

If you can’t wait until January 27 for your next Kylie fix, then fear not as you can catch her on the new series of The Voice UK tomorrow night (Saturday, January 11) at 7pm on BBC One.

Kylie has also hinted that Into The Blue may have some similarities to the “avant-garde” style of Slow. Watch the video for that amazing 2003 single below:
