LeAnn Rimes: ‘My husband and I are a gay man’s wet dream’

LeAnn Rimes has joked that she and her husband are a “gay man’s wet dream”.
The 31-year-old country singer is married to actor Eddie Cibrian, whose credits include roles on hit US shows CSI, Hot In Cleveland and Ugly Betty. The couple are now appearing together on their own reality show, LeAnn & Eddie, whose first season is currently airing on VH1 in the US.
“I’ve always said that Eddie and I are a gay man’s wet dream. I sing, you can look at him, and it’s perfect,” Rimes told PrideSource.
Rimes also revealed that she and her husband sometimes go out to gay clubs together, saying: “Oh yeah, [we’ve been to a gay club] many times. It’s fun for me to watch!”
The Can’t Fight the Moonlight singer then confirmed that Cibrian attracts a lot of attention when the couple are out in a gay club.
“I’ve definitely watched him get looked up and down in every way, shape or form. So I guess, yeah, they come onto him,” she said. “It’s hysterical seeing these guys freak out over him. For me, I laugh so hard, because Eddie is really pretty cool about it all, but sometimes he can be shy and uncomfortable, and I love to see him in that element. It’s completely not his element, but he knows how to work it.”
Rimes, who earlier this month (August) released a Greatest Hits package filled with dance remixes titled Dance Like You Don’t Give a…, went on to reveal that she is now planning to record more dance music.
“This is laying the groundwork for me to really do a dance record,” she said of the remix album. “And it’s sad actually: The album (Dance Like You Don’t Give a …) was in the top ten the other day on iTunes, but I was the only singer [in there] with a full-on dance record.”
