By Will Stroude
While Lil’ Wayne was serving time for gun-related charges he helped two fellow inmates celebrate their love – by officiating their wedding.
The rapper revealed his cupid-incarcerated antics in his new memoirs, Gone ‘Til November, according to Page Six/
According to the book, which is out on October 11, prisoners banded together to help decorate the hall with what ever they could find and even toasted the happy couple with Gatorade.
“Gatorade is liquid gold in this bitch,” he explains in the memoirs.
“Imagine seeing grown-ass men in jail hanging tissue for wedding decorations. AND one of them is Lil Wayne. Crazy,” he adds.
It’s not the first time Lil’ Wayne has shown love to the LGBT community – he congratulated basketball player Jason Collins in 2013 when he became the first openly gay NBA player, and praised him for “opening a lot of doors.”
