Man and teenage girl arrested after trans woman found stabbed to death in London hotel room

Two people ave been arrested after a trans woman was found stabbed to death in a London hotel room.
36-year-old Hersi Hersi, known to friends as Naomi, was found with knife injuries at Heathrow Palace in Hounslow, close to Heathrow Airport, at 10.50am on Sunday and was pronounced dead at the scene 30 minutes later, The Evening Standard reports.
Jesse McDonald, 24, from Hounslow, has been charged with murder. He appeared at the Old Bailey via videolink on Thursday (march 22) and has been reminded into custody.
A 17-year-old girl, who cannot be named for legal reason, was released on bail after being charged with assisting an offender.
Naomi was pronounced dead at the scene after being found with knife wounds at Heathrow Palace Hotel, Hounslow.
Neighbours described Naomi, from Mill Hill, as “fun to be around and a real character”.
One neighbour told the Standard: “Naomi was a flamboyant, lovely fun person. I think she had problems in her life but was well liked. We are devastated to lose a friend and neighbour.”
McDonald and the teenage girl are due back in court on June 8.
