A man stabbed his friend in the neck after they had sex.
Michael Drake went over to the Florida home of friend Mark Kimball to have consensual sex but afterwards, Kimball claims Drake attacked him with a knife and cut him in the neck, according to the Pinellas Country Sheriff’s Office.
Kimball left his house and wrapped a towel around his neck and walked down the street to find some help. He was found by a neighbour who called the police.
When officers arrived, Kimball had already been taken to hospital for “serious injuries that included lacerations to his neck”.
Five hours after beginning their search for Drake, officers responded to a burglary at another house on the same street.
When they arrived, they found Drake at the property but the victim said they didn’t want to prosecute him.
Drake was arrested and charged with attempted murder in the second degree and police said he admitted to stabbing Kimball with a kitchen knife – which was found in his home.
He is currently being held in Pinellas County Jail.
