A man who allegedly raped another man has been killed in a shootout with Miami police.
Alexander Carballido, 40, contacted a gay Uber driver after the two met in an adult store in Miami and he invited Carballido to his house but when he arrived, he pulled out a gun and forced him to remove his clothes.
The alleged attacker said: “All gay men should be dead” as he pistol-whipped the victim and proceeded to rape him, LGBTQ Nation reported.
Carballido then left and took thousands of dollars worth of jewellery as well as $500 in cash.
The victim reported the crime and Carballido was found by police which ended in him being shot dead by officers.
Police reported found other weapons in his car.
Carballido had a history of violence after serving a year in prison for kidnappings, aggravated battery, carjacking with a deadly weapon, fleeing and eluding police, and aggravated assault on a police officer.
He was released in July this year and was set to remain on probation until 2023.
