Marc Jacobs responds to ‘wild, 10-person orgy’ reports in unapologetic style

Marc Jacobs has responded in spectacular style to gossip site reports about his sex life.
The former creative director of Louis Vuitton hit out after US gossip site Page Six published a story yesterday (October 27) claiming that the 52-year-old had spent last weekend hosting an orgy at his home with “up to 10 people” he had met on gay hook-up app Grindr.
A ‘source’ told the site that the 20-something crowd “weren’t as good-looking” as they expected, before claiming that some attendees were using crystal meth and party drug GHB.
“I expected [Jacobs’ ex] Lorenzo Martone beautiful,” the ‘source’ said. “They were average, chill people who didn’t have any attitude, which was really nice.”
While others might choose to deny or simply ignore such an uninvited – and unsubstantiated – supposed insight into their private life, Jacobs decided to torch everyone involved with making the story public in spectacular style.
Taking to Instagram, the 52-year-old uploaded a photoshopped image of himself next to Grindr’s logo, with the accompanying text: “Goodbye (for now) Grindr! It was fun for ‘group’ get togethers, but, what really excites me is my work!”
He captioned the image: “Yup. I’m gay. Sometimes I enjoy sex. Sometimes! #stillonlyhuman #callmemarc #yourstotry…maybe.”
Far from done however, Jacobs shared a picture of the original article shortly afterwards, adding: “Wild??? I’d say “MILD”.
“And to whichever guest benefitted [sic] from calling this misinformation into the Post, I only wish you good health, happiness, and a long life to enjoy taking advantage of the kindness of strangers and talking shit about others. #reallyqueen?”
Ouch.
Jacobs previously hit headlines back in June after accidentally sharing a naked selfie with his Instagram followers instead of its intended recipient – though again, he refused to let the eyebrow-raising incident get him down.
“I was flirting with someone I met on Instagram. Meant to send it by DM. Oops, my mistake,” he wrote afterwards.
“I apologize to anyone it offended. I’m a gay man. I flirt and chat with guys online sometimes.
“BIG DEAL!”
