Michael Sam sells ‘Stand With Sam’, rainbow merchandise

Michael Sam has launched his own range of ‘Stand With Sam’ and ‘#SamStrong’ merchandise.
The range of T-shirts and buttons, some of which feature rainbow colours, are available to buy on the NFL draft prospect’s online store.
Prices start at $22 (£13) and stretch to $100 (£60). “A portion of the proceeds of all Michael Sam gear will be going to at-risk youth in the St. Louis area,” Sam wrote on Twitter earlier today (March 8).
“Hey Guys, #StandWithSam and #SamStrong gear is finally available at http://michaelsam.com/shop/,” he had tweeted immediately beforehand.
NFL (National Football League) draft prospect Sam came out as gay last month (February). If selected by a team to play in the upcoming season, he will become the first openly gay player to compete in the NFL.
