Milo Yiannopoulous heckled out of bar after being called Nazi scum

The internet villain said he felt rattled during the whole ordeal

Milo Yiannopoulous was forced to flee a New York bar after hecklers shouted “Nazi scum”.

The internet villain – who caused controversy by urging Australians to vote no during the gay-marriage referendum campaign, just two weeks after marrying his boyfriend – was standing at the bar when the patrons started shouting “Nazi scum get out”.

Gizmodo journalist Brendan O’Connor filmed the scene which saw Milo leaving the bar due to the chant and O’Connor tweeted the footage and asked him “if pivoting to full white nationalism was on the table?”

To which Milo replied: “How many white nationalists do you know who have black husbands?

“Who reads Gizmodo who I care about? Where does this fit on your tech beat? This isn’t how you doorstep someone. I’m just out with my friend. [sic]”

The following day, Milo – who was once reported to condone paedophilia and was a Donald Trump supporter – took to social media to reveal he was “rattled” during the incident.

He wrote: “I was just shoved and screamed at by a big group in a pub in Manhattan and forced out of the place. One of them was a reported for Gizmodo.

“They were screaming at the top of their lungs about ‘Nazis’ and ‘KKK’. Initially I was going to stay but obviously they blocked me from my table and my bag and yelled at me to leave and it was about to escalate into something ugly.

They were screaming at the top of their lungs about “Nazis” and “KKK”. Initially I was going to stay put obviously but they blocked me from my table and my bag and yelled at me to leave and it was about to escalate into something ugly. It rattled me a little bit (just slightly!), perhaps because I have something to lose in life now. My first thought was John and not getting myself hurt or killed. I don’t know how I’d explain to my black husband that I got hurt for being a “white supremacist”. I didn’t have security with me so I had to just get out of there. I won’t name the place we were at because the staff were really understanding and cool about it. But jeez. It’s now impossible for me to safely go out for lunch in most major cities in America because I supported Trump at the last election and don’t like feminism.
