Most followed person on Vine calls HIV a ‘fag disease’

A Vine-famous American teenager has called HIV a “fag disease” in his latest video clip.
Nash Grier, 16, is the most followed person on Vine with over 8.7 million followers on the social media site – eight times more than popstar Justin Bieber.
Grier became famous for videos featuring him performing practical jokes, having fun with friends and playing games with his younger sister.
In his latest Vine, the teenager shows a clip of an American HIV public service announcement informing viewers that HIV “isn’t a gay thing”, before cutting to himself shouting: “Yes it is! Fag!”

Grier has since deleted the Vine – but not before gay YouTube celebrity Tyler Oakley retweeted a link to it and criticised the teenager for spreading false information about HIV. See Oakley’s tweet below.

Last year, Grier was criticised after he asked his Twitter followers to retweet him if they disagreed with gay marriage.
