Need help getting through your lesbian break up? This colouring book could save the day
Colouring books are the new ‘thing’, aren’t they? These days you can’t go into a coffee shop without seeing at least one person scribbling away in between sips of their mocha. Now there are plans to release a colouring book specifically aimed at lesbians going through a break up.
26-year-old artist and teacher Nawwal Moustafa has created the book, titled ‘Chin Up, Dreamboat’, after a successful Kickstarter campaign, and it will be hitting shelves in May.
Moustafa told Metro: “I had this idea after I ended a relationship where we rushed into some serious commitment. I stopped and recognized it wasn’t working, and that what I was doing wasn’t working. It was a typical, over-committed too soon relationship. So, I created this. As a tool for others, and a tool for myself.”
Only available in the U.S., Nawwal has also come to the rescue of us heartbroken Brits (and other internationals) by creating a digital download option so that we can print it out and colour in without having to pay shipping fees.
Nawwal Moustafa, you are amazing.
