Other confirmed cast members include True Blood’s Joe Manganiello and Academy Award nominated Little Miss Sunshine actress Abigail Breslin.
Scream Queens has already been picked up by American television network Fox for 15 hour-long episodes, which will go into production in early 2015. Murphy is working with Glee collaborators Brad Falchuk and Ian Brennan on the show, which is expected to debut in the autumn.
It was recently revealed that Murphy is planning a dramatic “reinvention” for season 5 of American Horror Story, after a somewhat mixed reception to the show’s current installment, Freak Show – find out more here.
