North Carolina considers repealing HB2 anti-LGBT law
North Carolina has been criticised after introducing an anti-LGBT legislation, House Bill 2, back in March this year which bans transgender people to use the facilities of their choice.
Now however, it seems that North Carolina Governor Pat McCrory is considering to repeal the anti-LGBT law.
Gay Star News reports that the state might repeal the law, if two things happen first: the law in Charlotte that offers protection for LGBT people must be repealed and the majority of North Carolina lawmakers must back the repeal.
This change of events comes after numerous musicians and business have boycotted the state with NBA being the most recent sports event to pull out of the state.
The National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) cancelled an NBA all-star basketball game in the state over the law.
