‘Pitch Perfect 2’: Anna Kendrick, Rebel Wilson to return

Anna Kendrick and Rebel Wilson will reprise their roles in Pitch Perfect 2, Universal Pictures has confirmed.
The pair – who played Becca and Fat Amy in Pitch Perfect – are the first cast members to be confirmed for next year’s sequel.
Elizabeth Banks – who also appeared in the first film – will make her feature length directorial debut with the sequel.
Pitch Perfect was a commercial and critical success when it was released in 2012, and gave us the song Cups, which went triple platinum in the US.
Original writer Kay Cannon is currently working on the Pitch Perfect 2 script.
Pitch Perfect 2 will be released in cinemas on May 15, 2015.
