Greg and Mitch, the hosts of popular YouTube series AsapSCIENCE, have come out as gay – and a couple.

Gregory “Greg” Brown and Mitchell “Mitch” Moffitt are known for their weekly videos in which they share wacky and often unbelievable science knowledge, which they have now been making for over two years.

The pair reveal in their latest video that they have been a couple for seven and a half years, and have decided to speak out now about their sexuality and relationship after seeing homophobic comments left under their videos by users.

“Although our YouTube experience has been extremely phenomenal and supportive, we’ve also experienced a lot of negativity and discussions around our sexuality,” said Greg. “And therefore, we felt the need to sort of come out.”
