‘Pose’ star Angelica Ross to make history as first trans person to host presidential forum

Pose star Angelica Ross is going to make history as the first trans person to host a presidential candidate forum.
According to Deadline, the actress will moderate the debate which will include Democratic candidates such as Joe Biden, Pete Buttigieg and Elizabeth Warren taking to the stage to debate LGBTQ rights in the first-of-its-kind event on Friday September 20.
Hosted by GLAAD, The Advocate and One Iowa, the LGBTQ forum will allow the Democratic candidates a chance to discuss issues specifically aimed at queer and trans people.
Ross tweeted: “I’m so READY & excited to be hosting the #LGBTQforum on Friday with @glaad @oneiowa, @theAdvocateMag and @gazettedotcom to ensure that presidential candidates are talking about issues important to LGBTQ voters!

Other candidates who have confirmed attendance include Cory Booker, Julián Castro, Tulsi Gabbard, Amy Klobuchar, Joe Sestak, and Marianne Williamson. Beto O’Rourke, Bernie Sanders, and Andrew Yang have yet to RSVP according to Out Magazine.
