Russia accuses Calvin Klein of ‘gay progaganda’

Back in 2013 Russia passed an ‘anti-gay’ propaganda law that prohibits ‘non-traditional’ sexual relationships. The author of the bill argued that the West was forcing it “demonic desires” onto the rest of the world and had to be stopped.
Now the Russian government is coming after Clavin Klein.
The brand’s latest ads features sexual diversity and fluidity for its new fragrance, ck2 and the Clavin Klein Jeans billboard campaign shows a gay couple kissing.
Their newest video, #the2ofus, shows two boys flirting with one another and revealing their feelings towards each other with body tattoos saying the phrase “Do you want to…”
Another ad promoting ck2 features a heterosexual couple however, shots showing two men and two women briefly touching has made the Russian government to conduct an investigation.

If Calvin Klein is found guilty of “promoting gay value” then they could be forced to pay up to one million rubles to Russia.
