Drag Race’s Sasha Colby reads JK Rowling to filth: ‘All you are is afraid’

RuPaul’s Drag Race champion Sasha Colby has things to say to JK Rowling.
The outspoken drag queen is continuing to be vocal about the trans community on her victory tour after season 15.
Sasha previously revealed her lip sync was a “f**k you” to those pushing anti-LGBTQ+ legislation.
More recently, in an interview with Logo, Sasha was asked by Queer as Folk‘s Johnny Sibilly what message she would send to the controversial Harry Potter author.
JK Rowling’s views on sex and gender have stirred controversy in the last few years.
She has said she has “deep concerns about the effect the trans rights movement.” She also mocked the phrase ‘people who menstruate’. However, Rowling has denied she is transphobic.
Johnny asked: “You’re not afraid to call out transphobes… if you could give JK Rowling a piece of your mind right now, what would you tell her?”
“So your husband left you for a t****y? That’s what this is all about, right?” Sasha joked.
“You know what, I get it. Because – like how Mistress [Isabelle Brooks] said: Dumbledore. I get it.” Sasha’s musings reference an inside joke between contestants on Season 15.
“Only diva can see diva”
“Muggle, no magic,” she added, aimed at the 57-year-old author.
“Baby, only diva can see diva. Only goddess can see goddess. If you’re not on my level, you can’t see me. If you’re not on my level, and I’m here, all you see is a shadow. All you are is afraid.”
Despite her controversy, Rowling is still a big name in the entertainment world.
As well as the Harry Potter game Hogwarts Legacy, HBO has recently announced a remake series of the original franchise.
Rowling is set to executive produce the HBO remake.
