Shia LaBeouf allegedly used homophobic slur during arrest

Shia Labeouf reportedly called a police officer a “fag” during his arrest earlier this week.
The troubled actor has been charged with criminal trespass, disorderly conduct and harassment after he was arrested during a performance of the Broadway production of Cabaret at New York’s Roundabout Theatre on Thursday night (June 26).
The 28-year-old was apparently drunk while he watched the performance from the audience, and fell from his chair during a solo by former Destiny’s Child member Michelle Williams – bringing other patrons down with him, reports The Telegraph.
“He was being rather difficult and combative, verbally…to the point where security guards asked him to please leave the premises and he refused,” NYPD spokesman George Tsourovakas said. “Police were called and he was detained and arrested.”
While being escorted from the building by NYPD officers, LaBeouf reportedly said: “I have millions and millions of dollars and attorneys. I’m going to ruin your career,” before calling the arresting officer a “fag”.
The actor will appear in court on July 27 to face the charges against him.
LaBeouf isn’t the only A-list actor to have been caught, allegedly, using homophobic language recently. Earlier this month (June), Jonah Hill used a homophobic slur during a tense exchange with a photographer – read the full story here.
