Take a shower selfie for the #WeAreAllClean AIDS Awareness Campaign

LGBT activist Jack Mackenroth has launched the #weareALLclean campaign in an effort to raise awareness and money to fight HIV/AIDS.
Mackenroth – who is HIV positive himself – hopes that supporters will strip for the campaign’s HIV Shower Challenge, with all the money raised going towards the Housing Works, a charity dedicated to ending HIV/AIDS and homelessness globally by 2030.
“I was inspired by the use of the word ‘clean’, especially common in gay culture, to describe oneself as STI/STD free,” said Mackenroth. “Indirectly, this implies that HIV-positive people are somehow ‘dirty’.”
The campaign, which was launched in collaboration with gay social app Moovz, has already seen the likes of model and actor Chris Salvatore taking part. To join him, all you need to do is take a shower selfie, upload it to social media, donate to the campaign and nominate three willing friends to do the same.
Meanwhile, Salvatore recently launched a global gay singing competition – find out the details here.
