A teenager was stabbed outside an LGBT youth hostel in Tel Aviv by his brother because of the ‘displeasure’ of other family members.
Back in July, a 16-year-old boy – who lives in the Beit Dror centre – was stabbed in the chest and leg by a man leaving a car.
The attacker fled before emergency services arrived where the teen was rushed to Ichilov hospital in a serious condition.
Early reports claimed the attacker was the victim’s elder brother.
Now following an investigation, the victim’s brother and two others have been arrested, Israel National News reported.
Police did not say whether the attack was committed because of the victim was affiliated with the LGBTQ community but ‘because of the displeasure’ of the family members with him.
A statement from Tel Aviv police will be filed by the Tel Aviv District Attorney’s Office against the three attackers.
