A teenager has been arrested on suspicion he planned to bomb a gay club and Catholic church in Germany.
The 17 year old was arrested earlier this month after intelligence provided by the United States led to his arrest, The Associated Press reported.
Now, the judge has denied him bail and kept the teenager in custody on suspicion that he was planning a “serious act of violence”.
His identity has not been revealed but intelligence show he planned to attack a gay club and Catholic church in Frankfurt.
Sinan Akdogan, the spokesperson for the Frankfurt prosecutors, said the teenager had instructions on how to make explosives and was trying to buy chemicals online.
