When we unveiled the new June issue of Attitude yesterday (May 22), featuring our stunning new shoot with Matthew Lewis, we knew it would set tongues wagging. Quite how many tongues was a completely different matter…

The 25-year-old’s incredible physical transformation for his new role in upcoming romantic drama Me Before You has seen the former Mr Neville Longbottom hit the headlines around the world, even bringing down attitude.co.uk temporarily as a record amount of people rushed to get a glimpse of Matt in all his glory.

There was one woman who seemed more shocked than most though: After seeing the sight of Matt in nothing more than a pair of Emporio Armanis, JK Rowling herself couldn’t help but express her shock at the former child star’s sexy make-over, tweeting that it’s “not as bad as seeing Dan [Radcliffe] in Equus, but close”.

After Matt bashfully apologised, Rowling added that she would “always support” him, before joking: “Now go put some clothes on”.
