The Flash’s Ezra Miller has begun ‘ongoing treatment’ for ‘complex mental health issues’
The actor has also apologised for his recent actions.

The Flash actor, Ezra Miller has spoken out for the first time after a series of public scandals that saw them become involved in a series of legal issues and abuse allegations, saying they are seeking “ongoing treatment” for “complex mental health issues”.
The 29-year-old non-binary actor has also offered their apologies for their actions.
“Having recently gone through a time of intense crisis, I now understand that I am suffering complex mental health issues and have begun ongoing treatment,” Miller’s statement to Variety begins.
It continues: “I want to apologize to everyone that I have alarmed and upset with my past behavior. I am committed to doing the necessary work to get back to a healthy, safe and productive stage in my life.”
Miller is the lead in of the upcoming standalone film The Flash but that casting has been overshadowed by the actor’s troubling behaviour.
Miller has been involved in a number of controversies, most recently they were charged with felony burglary in Vermont and are due in court 26 September.
A Rolling Stone investigation report in late June revealed that Miller had been living at a Vermont farm with a 25-year-old mother and her three children on the property that doubles as an unlicensed cannabis farm where several firearms were found on the premises.
Also in June, reports surfaced that Miller had a temporary restraining order filed against them by the mother of a 12-year-old followed by the family of an 18-year-old requesting a protection order against the actor in regards to their child, both alleging the actor had repeatedly acted inappropriately.
Miller has been arrested twice in Hawaii. Once over “disorderly conduct and harassment” at a bar after patrons started singing karaoke and the second time for assaulting a woman at a party.
This series of scandals has become a growing issue for not only Miller but also the Warner Bros. studio which has been under mounting pressure to address Miller’s involvement in the upcoming The Flash film.
There have been rumours circulating that the studio was considering dropping Miller from the DC universe but that was somewhat ignored when Warner Bros. Discovery CEO David Zaslav implied The Flash release would still go ahead: “We have seen The Flash, Black Adam and Shazam 2. We are very excited about them.”
“We think they are terrific, and we think we can make them even better,” Zaslav continued.
