Three men were victims of a homophobic attack in north London.
The three friends were making their way home when two men approached them and hurled abuse at them before physically assaulting them, but police claim no weapons were used, Get West London reported.
One of the men was taken to hospital but was later discharged. Police believe the attack was fuelled by homophobia.
A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said: “There was a verbal interaction between the victims and the suspects prior to the attack, which is why we are treating this as a homophobic incident.
“Three men aged in their 20s had been assaulted by two suspects. One of the men required hospital treatment, but he was subsequently discharged.”
