US preacher who praised Orlando shooting is banned from entering the UK

Earlier this week we reported that South Africa had banned a homophobic US preacher from entering the country. But South Africa is no longer alone in this as Steve Anderson, from the Faithful Word Baptist Church in Phoenix, has been banned from entering the UK.

The preacher made controversial headlines when he spoke to his congregation about the Orlando shooting saying, “The good news is that there’s 50 less paedophiles in the world, because you know, these homosexuals are a bunch of disgusting perverts and paedophiles.”

He also called for the execution of gay people and to kill gays for an “AIDs-free Christmas”.

But now Gay Star News reports that he was planning on visiting South Africa this month to convert people to the Faithful World Church but was banned from entering the country. He then released a YouTube video about the ban where he persists that he’s still going to Africa.

In the video, Anderson reveals he was supposed to take a flight to Johannesburg from a connecting flight in London but before he was able to board the plane in London, he was paged by security.

“They tell me that the United Kingdom has banned me from entering the country and that I can’t even so much as have a connecting flight in London,” Anderson explains in the video. “So not only am I banned from the UK, but I can’t even go to the London airport.”

He states that he had to re-route his entire journey to get to Botswana where he hopes to spread his message of hate.

“I’m still excited about what we’re doing in Botswana,” he said. “It’s too bad that South Africa fell through because, you know, they banned me personally, they banned the soul winning event.”

He then slammed the country by saying, “I wasn’t really that excited about visiting their so-called beautiful country which is the rape capital of the world.”

He states it’s one of the most dangerous and wicked places in the entire world before saying all he was trying to do was “bring the gospel to the lost.”

He finished his video by telling Christians of South Africa to “save themselves” and praised Botswana for being more receptive with his message.
