Waka Flocka Flame blasts Caitlyn Jenner: ‘That’s the devil playing tricks’

Waka Flocka Flame has seemingly lambasted the media’s positive portrayal of Caitlyn Jenner.

The rapper – who has collaborated with the likes of ASAP Rocky, will.i.am and Britney Spears, Nicki Minaj, Good Charlotte and Trey Songz among many others – has attracted huge controversy over comments made on Power 105.1’s The Breakfast Club.

He told the hosts: “I ain’t saying nothing against like a Bruce Jenner, you follow me, you are who you are when God made you, not who you became after he did. That’s how I just feel. You rebuking God. God ain’t put those feelings in you, that’s the devil playing tricks on your mind. That’s a test from God.”

He also criticised the media for an alleged focus on “evil”, listing transgender people as an example.

He went on: “Women are afraid to be a wife and young males are afraid to be men. It’s not cool, they’re not marketing that. They don’t market families and husbands and wives no more.

“They’re marketing young girls, transgenders, they’re marketing evil, man. Evil is marketed. I ain’t got nothing against anybody’s preferences, but putting it on TV, that’s crazy, man.”

He added: “Kids is the only people watching the TV. You know adults is too busy, they trying to control life so you can’t stop your kid from trying to watch certain channels. They gotta watch it.”

As his comments began to hit headlines worldwide, he tweeted:
