Watch | US rock singer brings boyfriend to tears with beautiful flash mob proposal
By Will Stroude
US rock singer Justin Utley might lead a musical life, but his greatest performance of all came this weekend, when he arranged a heart-stopping proposal – with a little help from the a LGBT choir The Stonewall Chorale – for his partner Craig in New York.
Justin convinced the choir to perform a song from Craig’s favourite musical – Aspects of Love‘s ‘Love Changes Everything’- on the plaza at Manhattan’s Lincoln Center, and his feelings were plain to see. His emotional reaction was picked up by Towleroad after a friend posted a video of the beautiful moment on Facebook.

Justin’s no stranger to making a scene in the name of love. In March 2014 he made a stirring speech before the Utah state legislature calling for LGBT equality. Raised a Mormon, he endured two years of gay ‘conversion’ therapy, making his new engagement to the love of his life even more cause to celebrate. Congratulations, Justin and Craig!
