Westboro Baptist Church respond to Prince William’s Attitude cover
Prince William’s appearance in Attitude’s July Issue sparked praise around the world yesterday (June 15), as the Duke of Cambridge became the first member of the British Royal Family to appear on the cover of an LGBT publication.
But there was one notable exception.
Christian extremist group the Westboro Baptist Church, known for their ‘God Hates Fags’ slogan and picketing of funerals in the US, picked up on yesterday’s news, letting us all know that it’s not “gonna end well” for the Prince – and even giving him his very own WBC-Attitude mash-up cover.

However, this hasn’t effected us here at Attitude. The interview and shoot with the Prince is history in the making and we’re glad the Prince has taken such a public a stand for the LGBT community.
Watch when Prince William met Attitude below:
After the discussion, HRH The Duke of Cambridge made the following statement: “No one should be bullied for their sexuality or any other reason and no one should have to put up with the kind of hate that these young people have endured in their lives.”
You can read our full feature with the Duke of Cambridge and see his exclusive shoot in Attitude’s July Issue, available to download now from pocketmags.com/attitude.
