Zac Efron has spoken about his recent stint in rehab during an appearance on US morning programme The Today Show.

Zac was promoting his new film That Awkward Moment when he was asked about rehab, and seemed happy to discuss the issue, insisting he was grateful for all the support he’d received from his fans recently.

“I’m in the best place that I’ve ever been in,” the 26-year-old replied, when asked if he felt like he could share anything about his rehab stint. “I’ve never been this happy before.”

He went on to add: “I’m extraordinarily grateful for these guys and to be here promoting this movie. Things are good. Thank you for asking.”

Zac reportedly entered a rehab facility on two separate occasions in 2013 for a rumoured addiction to cocaine.

That Awkward Moment is released in the UK on January 29. Watch the trailer below.
