Brighton Pride campsite returning for 2016

By Will Stroude

It’s one of the biggest and boldest pride events in the UK, so it only makes sense that you get the full festival experience across the whole three days of events with the Brighton Pride campsite, which is returning for 2016 better than ever.

This year with an extra day, the campsite will be open Thursday to Sunday with fabulous campsite catering, bar and club house and amazing onsite facilities including posh showers and camp shop for all your festival essentials.

The Pride Camp Camp bus service will also be in operation throughout the weekend, taking party-goers from the campsite to the centre of the city, including stops at Old Steine and Preston Park.

After the phenomenal success of 2015, which saw £100,000 raised for community good causes and 200,000 people enjoy the city’s community parade to date, this year’s Brighton Pride will take place over the weekend of August 5th-7th – so there’s still plenty of time to get out the glue-gun and start working on that flimsy-yet-fabulous outfit.

This year’s event will continue to celebrate the city’s colourful character with the own ‘Carnival Of Diversity’, while the new campaigning theme of ‘Uniting Nations’ looks both to home and abroad, reflecting the festival’s on-going commitment to campaigning for global LGBT+ rights.

2015’s campsite sold out in advance, so early booking recommend to reserve your space. For Early bird discount bookings click here.

Tickets for Brighton Pride 2016 (August 5-7) are now available here, and you can express your interest in entering this year’s community Parade 2016 here.
