Do you want to be part of Pride in London 2017?

Want to be part of one of the world’s largest LGBT+ festivals? Now in its third year, the Pride in London festival is looking for inspirational, inclusive and accessible events to help celebrate the diversity of the capital’s vibrant LGBT+ community.
Plans for the 2017 Pride in London Festival are already underway, with up to 50 community-inspired being held in venues across London during the two-week Festival. Further events to mark the 50th year of British partial decriminalisation of (male) homosexuality in 1967 will be announced in due course.
Pride in London are looking to hear from individuals and groups who would like to run events or would like an existing event to be included in the Festival schedule.
All submissions received from the community will be thoroughly reviewed by Pride in London’s Festival team and an extra focus will be placed to increase women’s, BAME and trans events, helping to realise Pride in London’s core vision of full inclusiveness to all parts of the LGBT+ community.
Pride in London Co-Chair & Director of Marketing, Alison Camps, said: “This year’s Pride in London programme is set to be bigger, more diverse and more fabulous than ever! Since its introduction in 2015, the Pride in London Festival has grown into one of the world’s largest and we want 2017 to reflect the LGBT+ community in all of its glory.
“We are looking for submissions that cover the fabulous spectrum of what the London has to offer – art, literature, theatre, film, photography, food, debate, music, cabaret, history, science, sport – and more!”
Last year over 1,000 people attended Pride in London events, including the Trans Pride Tea Dance; a special event for the trans and gender non-conforming community; the first ever Queer Asia conference; Pride LGBT+ Youth Prom, a unique event for LGBT+ people aged 12-17 to celebrate their diversity; and a special partnership with the Natural History Museum Lates programme focusing on sexuality and attraction in the natural world.
