By Attitude Magazine

The Hertfordshire Pride Society will launch Herts Pride 2015 on the opening night of Avenue Q at Watford Colosseum, Thursday 2 July.

Hertfordshire Pride Society in a non-profit organization, who set up, plan, organise, raise funds and implement an annual Pride and family fun day event in Hertfordshire. “Herts Pride are thrilled to be launching this year’s event at Watford Colosseum, with the support of the cast of Avenue Q,” said Tyson Martin, Chair of Herts Pride.

“Herts Pride 2014 was a massive success and brought so many people from the LGBT community together in one place – Herts Pride 2015 is sure to be even bigger and better!”

Avenue Q, which runs at Watford Colosseum from Thu 2 – Sat 4 July, tells the story of the loveable characters on a downtown New York street trying to make sense of life’s burning issues. Rod, one of the puppet characters in the hilarious, cheeky and uproariously entertaining musical, will be meeting members of The Hertfordshire Pride Society before he takes to the stage at 7:30PM on Thursday 2 July.

Also attending the launch of Herts Pride 2015, and the opening performance of Avenue Q, are The Supreme Fabulettes – an all-male all-singing girl group. Specialising in powerful three-part harmonies, The Supreme Fabulettes will be appearing on stage at Herts Pride 2015 ahead of performing Viva La Drag at Watford Colosseum on Wednesday 30 September.
