Alexander McQueen has opened its newly-relocated flaship store at London’s 27 Old Bond Street.
Creative director Sarah Burton and architect Smiljan Radic have dreamt up an entirely new design concept over three storeys of sleek wood-pannelling and sculptures from Chilean artist Macela Correa.
With womenswear on the ground floor and menswear on the first, the second floor plays host to an experiential space designed to encourage the formation of a creative community.
Celebrating the rich history of Alexander McQueen, the space will showcase pieces from the house’s archive and current collections along with photography and artwork.
The area will also be used to host exhibitions and talks aimed at inspiring students and young fashion types. We’ll see you there…
