Fashion designer Christian Siriano has split with his husband of two years, Brad Walsh.
The news was announced by Walsh on Twitter on Monday (June 25) as he requested privacy for the former couple, who wed in July 2016 after almost a decade together.
“Bit more than a month ago my husband and I separated. I was contacted by a writer for a website who somehow found out, so rather than let them break it, I’m telling you myself”, Walsh wrote.
“It’s nobody’s business and I don’t want to discuss, but that’s what up.”
Siriano, 32, rose to prominance after after winning the fourth season of Project Runway in 2008, becoming the design competition’s youngest-ever winner.
He has since gone on to become one of the show’s biggest success stories, dressing A-list stars including Lady Gaga, Taylor Swift and Victoria Beckham and sitting on the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA).
News of Siriano’s split with Walsh was later confirmed by his spokesperson, who told Page Six: “They were together for 11 years, love each other very much and request privacy at this time.”
