Drag Race favourites Brooke Lynn Hytes and Vanessa Vanjie Matteo are look stunning in the new Pride collection from Bluebella Lingerie.
Dressed in a variety of bras, knickers, and suspenders in every hue of the Pride flag ‘Branjie’ is once again back together. We’re getting major Drag Race season 11 vibes from these two!
Bluebella’s collection sees some of its favorite items refreshed in limited-edition colours that definitely make an unforgettable statement.
This year, Bluebella’s collection celebrates equality, inclusivity, and diversity with 10 percent of profits raised supporting OutRight Action International in its vital work for LGBTQ communities.
To mark the release of the campaign, Attitude sat down with Brooke Lynn and Vanjie to go over the campaign.
Which item from the collection would you most want to wear strutting down the Drag Race runway?
Brooke Lynn Hytes: I loved the blue two-piece with the garter. That would make for a great runway look.
Vanessa Vanjie Matteo: I’m a fan of primary colors so you best believe the yellow and red two-pieces are my lingerie of choice when I’m walking all sultry down the runway, makes me feel spicy!
Drag Race UK’s A’Whora and Tayce fronted Bluebella’s Pride campaign last year – so we have to know… who wore it best?
B: Is that even a question?!
V: Little girls playing in their mama’s lingerie! All jokes aside it’s great to see queens from the US, Canada and the UK working together on projects.
Fans will undoubtedly be excited to see ‘Branjie’ working together on a project like this – and in lingerie no less! Were you excited to work together again?
B: It was so much fun getting to work together again. Vanjie and I are great friends and love spending time together.
V: It’s always going to be a kiki with Mr. Brock Hayhoe! We gonna be doing exciting stuff this year together, stay tuned!
How have you maintained such a strong friendship over the years?
B: We stopped dating. [laughs]
V: As they say… distance makes the heart grow fonder!
10% of the profit from sales of the collection will be donated to OutRight Action International. How important is it to you that Pride collections like this give back to the community?
V: Year after year corporations have used Pride as a marketing tool to make money off all us in LGBTQ+ community, so I’m proud to work with a brand like Bluebella who are actually putting their money where their mouth is!
B: It’s very important. Every campaign should put money back into the communities they are benefiting from financially.
