Harry Styles, Robbie Rogers and Emma Corrin hit red carpet at My Policeman world premiere
The film adaptation of Bethan Roberts' 2012 gay drama novel received its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival on Sunday.

Harry Styles, Emma Corrin and Robbie Rogers were among the stars who took to the red carpet for the world premiere of My Policeman on Sunday (11 September).
Former One Direction star Styles, who plays a closeted gay policeman in 1950s Brighton in the film adaptation of Bethan Roberts’ 2012 novel, took a brief break from his Love On Tour world tour to attend the first public showing of the gay period drama at the Toronto International Film Festival.
The ‘As It Was’ singer’s arresting fashion sense was on display as he sported a green Gucci suit with a matching handbag and cream shoes, while co-star Corrin – who came out as non-binary last year – sported a high-cut black bodysuit with sheer floor-length sleeves.
David Dawson, who plays Styles’ lover Patrick in the film, opted for a sleek black suit, while actors Rupert Everett, Linus Roache and Gina McKee – who play the older iterations of Styles, Dawson and Corrin’s characters respectively – also hit the red carpet.
My Policeman co-producer Greg Berlanti, who has produced LGBTQ-inclusive film and TV including 2018 gay teen rom-com Love, Simon, was also in attendance with his husband and former professional footballer Robbie Rogers.
My Policeman is set for a limited theatrical release on 21 October in the US and will premiere on Prime Video on 4 November in the UK. Check out all the red carpet action from its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival below:
