Take a peek inside this luxury six bedroom countryside home in Wiltshire
In partnership with Strakers.
By Will Stroude
An iconic contemporary home with a self-contained annexe in about two acres in a completely rural location.
Designed with luxury living in mind, Reflections is the architect’s vision of a modern Roman villa: large expanses of glass flood the interior with natural light and the two wings merge seamlessly to provide open-plan, highly individual living space; great for easy living and entertaining alike.
The zero-carbon accommodation incorporates state-of-the-art energy efficiency and stylish touches to a generous specification which includes sophisticated sound and security systems. The grounds extend to about 2 acres providing privacy and lovely down land views.
Electric gates open onto a long drive leading up to the front of the house; there is garaging for three cars with two fast charge electric charging points and a beautifully reflected self-contained, one bedroom annexe built to an equally impressive specification.
This unique home is situated along a quiet country lane in an outstanding rural position on the edge of the village. There are excellent downland views and north towards the rolling agricultural landscape of the Pewsey Vale.
Easterton is a small village set between Market Lavington and Urchfont close to the foothills of the Salisbury Plain and offers a thriving public house.
Design Concept
The principal philosophy behind Reflections was to create accommodation that both bathes in natural light and interacts seamlessly with its gardens and surrounding countryside setting.
This is achieved through the continuous use of floor to ceiling glazed walls and bi folding doors that overlook the gardens and merge the exterior and interior spaces.
