Tommy Hilfiger’s latest collection inspired by iconic ’80s ad campaign
We're loving this stylish retro throwback.

Few fashion campaigns have transcended the realm of traditional advertising and made history.
Among these include Calvin Klein’s 1992 ad with Marky Mark and a teenage Kate Moss (both topless), all American Apparel’s soft porn which feature more clothes off than on and Tommy Hilfiger’s famous ‘Hangman’ campaign.
Designed by art director George Lois in 1985, the graphic launched Hilfiger’s brand into the public pysche and made it a rival of epochal labels like Ralph Lauren and Perry Ellis. For 2017, Tommy Hilfiger has now released a men’s capsule collection inspired by the campaign, titled ‘Being Bold’ featuring six pieces including T-shirts, jackets and a hoodie. The collection will be available in stores globally and online at tommy.com.
