The Uncoupled actor has collaborated with the brand Ron Dorff to create a snug-looking fashion collection inspired by family nicknames.

Neil Patrick Harris and his husband, David Burtka, front Ron Dorff’s new ‘PAPA’ collection.

The 20-piece exclusive fall collection, which includes cashmere sweatshirts and organic cotton t-shirts, expands of the brand’s classic ‘DAD’ prints with the introduction of ‘PAPA’.

The 20-piece exclusive Fall capsule collection is a widening of the brand’s classic DAD prints with the introduction of PAPA prints that will debut Wednesday (21 September).

It also opens the doors on the 49-year-old Tony-winning actor’s home life and his personal identification with fatherhood.

Harris says the monikers stem from terms used by Harris’ family.

“I had seen the Ron Dorff ‘DAD’ T-shirts and I thought they were great for David because he goes by Dad.

“I go by Papa so when I started talking with Claus about what we could do together, I thought about Dad and Papa as two variations so fathers have both options depending on how they’re known.”

The capsule also includes ‘BRO’ and ‘SIS’ labelled matching t-shirts.

When he’s not taking strides in the world of fashion, Harris is keeping busy in the acting world.

He was recently seen in Netflix’s Uncoupled and is set to play the villain in the upcoming 60th anniversary series of Doctor Who

In a recent interview, the actor teased: “I was just in London filming an episode special for Doctor Who where I play someone I’m not allowed to talk about. And I had to have a posh British accent… Or did I?”

In the forthcoming series, due to air in 2023, Harris is starring opposite Sex Education‘s Ncuti Gatwa as well as Heartstopper‘s Yasmin Finney who will be playing a trans character called Rose.

The Attitude September/October issue is out now.
