AllSaints reinvent the urban cowboy

By Nick Bond

Celebrating the incoming arrival of its Spring Summer 2015 Collection, AllSaints has launched Runway, a short film featuring Texan heartthrob Cole Mohr as its urban cowboy.

Co-starring actress and model Camille Row, the short film follows the two moving from street to rooftop across both New York and Los Angeles, with Cole strutting along the Los Angeles River basin, giving Our Cheryl a run for her money.

AllSaints’ Creative Director Wil Beedle said, “From the Brooklyn Bridge to downtown LA, ‘Runway’ captures our Spring collections in constant movement, set against iconic backdrops of contemporary city life. The film represents the true dynamics of AllSaints – created in East London to be worn on the move, in the city, across the globe.”

The film gives us a glimpse into what the subversive new menswear collection has to offer. Military, biker, and tropical aesthetics merge with unexpected materials and silhouettes: military jackets are worn as Hawaiian shirts, tropical jackets become blazers, and the iconic AllSaints leather biker jacket is reinterpreted in lightweight suede.
