Beyoncé, Jay Z announce ‘On The Run’ US stadium tour
By Sam Rigby
Beyoncé and Jay Z have announced that they will co-headline a US stadium tour later this year.
The couple will play 16 shows across North America in June, July and August as part of their On The Run tour.
The tour will begin at Miami’s Sun Life Stadium on June 25, before concluding in San Francisco on August 5.
Both recently wrapped up their own solo tours, in support of their recent albums Magna Carta Holy Grail and Beyoncé.
The tour is rumoured to be visiting the UK and Europe following the conclusion of the US leg, but no dates have been announced.
Beyoncé released Drunk in Love, her collaboration with Jay Z, as the lead single from her self-titled fifth studio album. It peaked at number two in the US and number nine in the UK earlier this year.
