Blood Brother teams up with Guinness for new menswear collection
By Will Stroude
Blood Brother has teamed with Irish beer brewer Guinness for a new collection.
The pair’s exclusive Spring Summer 2017 Capsule collection of contemporary menswear features bomber jackets, t-shirts, sweaters and trousers. In a fashion first, two worlds have come together to create an eight-piece capsule collection that combines sophisticated silhouettes with a casual sports-enthused energy and luxury fabrics.
Blood Brother has re-imagined the trademark Guinness’ iconic harp and catalogue of advertising in their own vision – creating a sentimental mind map throughout the collection – a perfect example of their distinct sartorial sportswear apparel.
Velvet zipped tracksuits and studded leather jackets are keys pieces as well as classic logo long sleeved T-shirts.
“Guinness shares our drive for quality and for us it was a great experience to work with such a global brand,” said Nicholas Biela, who designed the collection alongside James Waller.
“We felt from the beginning that it would make for a really unique chance to collaborate with a brand outside of fashion that really was the best at what it does and has a huge amount of respect over a long period of time, something that we hope to achieve.”
This limited edition menswear range will be exclusively available at the Blood Brother flagship store and online at blood-brother.co.uk, online retailer Farfetch and from a bespoke pop-up space within Harrods London; as well as harrods.com.
