Burberry unveil their epic cinematic Christmas campaign: WATCH

Halloween move over, it’s time for Christmas. Burberry launched their latest Christmas Campaign ‘The Tale of Thomas Burberry’ at Thomas’ (Burberry’s all day cafe) on their Regent Street flagship store last night. We spied two of it’s stars, Domhnall Gleeson and Lily James at the opening of the film which is a layred and lavish look at Burberry Christmas.

The Tale of Thomas Burberry, written by Matt Charman and directed by Asif Kapadia, headed up by Christopher Bailey, re imagines the company’s 160th year history. Gleeson plays the founder, Thomas Burberry and Sienna Miller takes the role of Thomas’ fictional first love. Dominic West plays polar explorer Sir Ernest Shackleton and Lily James rounds out the cast as pilot Betty Dawson (inspired by Betty Kirby-Green). With plenty of nods to the brand’s craftmenship along with plenty of snow flurries, gold confett iand cinematic flourishes the warm glow of christmas is in present, including a truly cinematic slow motion shot of Sienna in an incredible cape (that we are lusting after). The  short also explores more sombre historical milestones such as the the World Wars and Shackleton’s doomed exploration, this is much much more than just your usual christmas advert, but we would expect no less from the British brand, having stars such as Naomi Campbell and Romeo Beckham in their Christmas campaigns,
